City and County governments have set their budgets for the year and many of them include increased taxes. Palm Beach County for example raised property taxes 15%. Other municipalities followed suit and raised their property tax rates. You would think elected leaders would know that in times like these, it's not time to raise taxes and take more money from our pockets.
